A very rare pair of quatrefoil style Georgian sterling silver candlesticks. 30.4cm (12") high with detachable nozzles both marked with a makers mark and sterling mark, foliage pattern capitals, quatrefoil shaped stems with a reeded knopped pattern. Sloping quatrefoil shaped bases decorated with a diamond shaped floral motif in each corner. One candlestick has a small historical repair from the stem to base but hardly noticeable as shown by the photos. (1767).
