A very impressive sterling silver jewellery or trinket box. Large size heart shaped form with hinged lid embossed with scrolls and flowers and gilt on the under side. The interior has the original used silk lined ring compartments and the body has been heavily embossed with scrolls and flowers. Very good original condition. The base is marked sterling as shown. (c.1900).
