A very pretty Edwardian sterling silver jewellery or trinket box with a nautical inscription of SS Avestruz, a sea worthy tug boat, launched in 1907. In an oval shaped form with hinged lid with scroll and floral embossed decoration. Gilt interior and the embossed body has two empty cartouche on either side. Very good original condition without holes in the embossing. (1904).
