A very rare and large size Edwardian sterling silver postal scales. Standing 7” tall this is a very large scale that would have been used in a private household. There is a small knob on the top of the body to regulate to adjust the scales. The front of the body has the measuring scale that is in very clear condition as shown. Plain body attached to a Chippendale style base. The weighing mechanism still works perfectly and the silver body is in perfect original condition. (1903).
