A superb late Victorian silver plated ice cooler lemonade jug by John Round & Son with a domed hinged lid, cast scroll handle, rams head decorated spout and a star pierced styner. The cylindrical body has a double skin for the ice. Leading down the body are two un-lockable hinges designed to release the base where there is a detachable circular bayonet fitting strainer. The bottom section has a well and tree style strainer with a void in the base to collect the melting ice water. (Circa 1890).
