A superb quality Collis & Co Victorian oval silver plated biscuit or trinket box with a hinged embossed floral lid and wheatsheaf finial. The body has two lion mask handles, a family crest in the cartouche and embossed with urns and garlands of flowers. Standing on an oval pierced and beaded base with claw and ball feet. In very good re-plated condition. (c.1890).
