A most unusual Georgian Old Sheffield plate argyle style tea pot. Domed lid with a hinged pouring cover. The oval body has a hot water jacket embossed with half fluting and a tapering straight spout. Condition of the silver plate is very good except there has been a repair to the handle. (c.1825).
