An exceptional Edwardian sterling silver William Comyns jewellery or trinket box in an oval form. The hinged lid has been engraved with butterflies and flowers with a scroll border. Gilt on the under side of the lid and with the original blue velvet lining. Plain body with cast pierced floral and scroll decorative feet. In very good original condition without inscriptions. (1905).
