Unusual Georgian Sterling Silver Mustard Pot

Unusual Georgian sterling silver mustard pot in a drum style with a hinged engraved foliage lid, a cut out for the spoon on the side and a central crest leaf capped scroll handle. The pierced body has two cows, foliage decoration and a pierced crest with just a makers mark. This intriguing mustard pot is being sold as found with a few branches missing and some detached leaves as shown in the photos. Complete with a Bristol blue liner that does fit but I suspect that this is not the original. (c.1800).

Weight excluding glass liner 124g
