A very decorative and unusual Victorian silver plated biscuit or trinket box with a hinged lid, scroll style finial and square cut corner body with pierced floral scroll decoration and shaped empty cartouche. Complete with the original frosted glass liner. The body is attached to a pierced and beaded base with four cast foliage style feet. Very good original silver plate. (c.1880).
