A most unusual design Victorian silver plated biscuit or trinket box. Rectangular shaped with an engraved hinged lid and cast figural farmer resting on a wheatsheaf bail. The panelled embossed body has a central square empty cartouche. Cut corner base with four cast scroll and floral feet. Very good re-silver plated condition. (c.1880).
