In a rectangular shape with a plain good gauge border and stepped domed empty cartouche decorated on the bottom corners with round wirework scrolling supports. The frame has bevelled glass and a covered wooden easel back stand. Engraved on the top of the frame is the retailer Thornhill & Co 144 New Bond Street as shown. This frame is in very good original condition. (1898).
