A beautiful Victorian Nathan & Hayes sterling silver trinket or jewellery box in heart shaped form with a tortoiseshell and applied empty scroll cartouche to the hinged lid. The interior has been gilt and the body has been chased with a spiral pattern and finished with a crimped edge. Both silver and tortoiseshell are in very good original condition. (1893).
