A most superior large Victorian silver plated basket in a circular form with a central pierced cast swing handle. The body has a striking basket woven decoration. The base has been beautifully engraved with floral and scroll decoration and a central engraved stag and Latin family crest. Supported on four cast rams head feet. The silver plating is in excellent original condition. (c.1875).
